Prioritiser helps you make informed decisions on where you should spend your time and resources by using rational criteria to prioritise the things that matter to your organisation:

• the things that are likely to happen or figure on the agenda,

• the things that present the biggest opportunities or pose the largest threats,

• and just as importantly, the things it can actually affect.

Wisdom of the business

Prioritiser recognises the best priority analysis requires input from across an organisation and is not developed in isolation by corporate planners. It encourages organisations to draw on the wisdom of the business – wherever it is found – to set the agenda.

RATIONAL ANALYSIS

During a Prioritiser session, the team will discuss what is important to their organisation and it will develop a list of key themes and their underlying component topics. The topics are then scored according to the key criteria:

• How likely is it to happen?

• Is it a threat or an opportunity?

• Can we affect it in any way?

CONSIDER DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW

Run analyses from different viewpoints to see the complete picture e.g. different departments within the organisation or outside groups such as competitors or pressure groups.
